T. Boone Pickens has taken a bold step in declaring that America is addicted to oil. More importantly, he has a plan to break the addiction, or at least curb it!

His efforts to focus development of renewable energy sources are exactly what Rudd Asset Management (RAM) is doing too! But, RAM is also looking at the development of others sources of renewables in addition to solar and wind.

The use of biomass and “opportunity” fuels also has great potential. At RAM, we have carefully developed a number of electric power designs that can be used in cogeneration applications and in Distributed Generation (DG) scenarios. We are working to identify non-food supply biomass fuels and other wastes or “opportunity” fuels that can be gasified or directly fired to create significant sized “green power” plants.
