One of the big advantages of green renewable energy production is its direct “tie” with the local community. In our development work, we are always looking for an opportunity to use locally grown waste fuels or biomass fuels. We do this for a number of reasons.
One reason is project economics. If we can get the fuels locally, we reduce the transportation cost of the fuel. That is often a big part of the fuel cost.
