All the talk about global warming and green house gases has many people puzzled. Is it really a problem? If it is, what can I do about it?
It seems pretty clear that global warming is real. Our world is changing and it is not for the better. Does is spell “doomsday” for us all? That is not so clear. But, is it in our best interests to ignore it? No!

The thought of loss of habitat for wildlife, ice cap melts, coastal flooding, violent weather changes and serious increase in respiratory problems for our kids is way to serious to ignore. But, what can we do? The answer may be easier than you think. Vote! Vote your conscience! Put people in office that recognize the problem and are committed to solving it! Review their voting records. Contact them. Tell them what YOU think and demand to be represented! Make your voice heard!

Be willing to pay the price. The fact is, prices are going up for everything. If you doubt it, take a ride to your local gas station!
You will likely have to pay a little more for reliable green energy. But, the savings in the long run will be worth it!
If we look ahead ten years, the price of fossil fuels with expensive environmental clean up and volatile world pricing will not be a bargain either! The days of cheap, polluting energy are gone! We need to make a change now. We can start having an impact today! We can each make a difference!

Sign up for a portion of your electric power to be “green”. If your local electric power supplier does not offer it, ask them to. You are the voice of change! Will it cost more? Yes. Is it worth it? Just ask your kids.
